I’m a pretty active person, I like to run, go to the gym and do yoga. I love going to the beach, taking walks with my dog and having adventures with my three children. When I relax I enjoy reading books and building LEGO with my kids; I am also learning to garden and get excited by my tomatoes and flowers when they grow!
My warm and relaxed style incorporates a range of evidence-based approaches into my practice, including CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy and EMDR. I use my experience providing trauma and attachment-based therapies to support healing and growth for individuals and for family relationships. to help you and your family connect and find joy together.
I offer a kind, enthusiastic and non-judgemental space for growth, healing, and capacity building. I am passionate about supporting you to make connections that make a difference, both within your own thoughts and emotions, as well as in relationships that are important to you
I love learning and have invested in education and training that has shaped me both as an individual and as a therapist. I have a strong interest in understanding the brain-body connection, and my training in Developmental Trauma, EMDR and Schema Therapy can support you to explore the ways the past may impact you in the here and now. I am also strongly focused on improving relationships, with training in Systems and Family Therapies that inform how I understand and respond to the hopes and challenges you bring with you to therapy.
